Overview
Blueprint to Photorealistic 3D Environment
This personal 3D visualisation project was created to demonstrate my ability to develop a highly detailed and realistic 3D environment from real-world references, including architectural floor plans, drawings, and blueprints. The project involved translating technical documentation into an accurate 3D model while paying close attention to architectural details, proportions, materials, textures, and overall visual presentation. It showcases my skills in 3D modelling, texturing, lighting, composition, and architectural visualisation. The core modelling was completed in 3ds Max, with detailed materials, lighting, scene development, and final visualisation carried out using Lumion 3D. The project was developed as a personal exercise to explore and refine my workflow while achieving a realistic and visually engaging final result.
Translating 2D Technical Blueprints into 3D Space
Interpreting flat floor plans and architectural diagrams requires extreme precision to maintain exact proportions, structural integrity, and material realistic representation without losing visual appeal in a 3D space.
Precision Modelling and Advanced Lighting Workflow
I built the core structure in 3ds Max from technical specs, then developed rich textures, realistic daylighting, and natural surroundings in Lumion 3D to deliver cinematic, photorealistic architectural renders.
